"The Capones" Reality Series Coming to REELZ in Fall 2013

"The Capones" Reality Series Coming to REELZ in Fall 2013
Ten Episodes of the Reality Docuseries Follow the Family of Al Capone.
We’re excited to take viewers deep in to the heart and craziness of the modern Capone family business,” said Stan E. Hubbard, CEO of REELZCHANNEL.
Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) April 10, 2013
REELZCHANNEL—TV About Movies® today announced that ten episodes of the reality docuseries "The Capones" will premiere in fall 2013. The spirit of the infamous gangster Al Capone still lives on in Chicago in the form of his drama-filled, lasagna-loving dysfunctional family, the Capones. Direct descendants of Al Capone himself are living a true mashup of the American Dream. With a notorious bloodline and larger-than-life personalities, this workplace docuseries follows the goodfellas as they run the family Italian restaurant and try to keep peace at the Capone mansion with the extended family all living under one roof. "The Capones" is produced by Asylum Entertainment. Steve Michaels and Jonathan Koch from Asylum Entertainment serve as executive producers. Cara and Curtis Leopardo of Bonnie & Clyde Media also serve as executive producers on the project.
“We’re excited to take viewers deep in to the heart and craziness of the modern Capone family business,” said Stan E. Hubbard, CEO of REELZCHANNEL. “In addition to family and food, 'The Capones' cast also love movies and they will give our viewers their personal movie recommendations in surprising and fun behind the scenes interviews.”
America’s fascination for Italian culture in movies is undeniable. From "The Godfather" trilogy to the comedic turn of "My Cousin Vinny" to an intimate look at an Italian family and business in "Moonstruck". In this spirit, REELZ debuts "The Capones" to show viewers life inside the Capone family in a reality series unlike anything on television.
Each episode follows Dom Capone “The Boss” as he runs this unkempt crew at his Italian eatery with an iron fist. The only one who keeps this loud-mouthed and fiery boss in check is his mother, Dawn. As co-owner of the restaurant with her son, Dawn is the meddling mother who gets involved in everyone’s business, whether they like it or not.
Surrounding Dom and Dawn Capone are an unusual cast of characters even by reality show standards. Dom’s current girlfriend “The Princess” and ex-girlfriend “Madness Cherry Lips”, two crazy aunts and the unemployed friend “Sausage”, drunken cousins, a pathological liar, flirty waitresses, an eccentric uncle “Toupee Lou”, an Irishman, and of course, the neighborhood troublemakers “Meatball” and “Bart” and that just includes the staff. However dysfunctional this cast of characters can get, they always end the week with the traditional Sunday dinner where the drama is always spicier than the pepperoni.
Despite all the arguing, yelling, jealousy and manipulation, the passion and love that holds this family together runs deep. No matter what happens, they always stick together and know that family comes first no matter what.

New York, N.Y. (PRWEB) April 02, 2013
The Art Students League of New York has been Kim Kardashian new pics one of America's premier studio art schools for 138 years. Continuing that tradition, LINEA examines--for artists and art appreciators alike--the methods and thinking involved in making art and showcases the results in beautiful reproductions. According to League Executive Director Ira Goldberg, "LINEA online opens the doors to artists’ studios and artists’ minds. The whole world can now access the creative processes that have inspired and nurtured artists at the Art Students League of New York .”
Or as painter Knox Martin puts company website it on a new LINEA video, “Art is the continued creation of the world.”
From 1997 through 2012, LINEA delivered art, interviews and commentary as a controlled-circulation semi-annual journal for League members, colleges, and the New York art community. Moving LINEA online, says Mr. Goldberg, “supports more space for articles and artwork, more timely updates, multimedia capabilities and above all, a wider audience to join the intellectual community at the League’s home on 57th Street in Manhattan.”
LINEA online is edited by Stephanie Cassidy, who founded the publication in 1997 with Mr. Goldberg. The name LINEA comes from the League’s motto, Nulla dies sine linea (No day without a line), an homage to artistic diligence attributed to the ancient Greek painter Apelles by the official website Roman historian Pliny the Elder.
Insights into artists’ thinking that are currently available on LINEA include:
----“The Studio Project,” a series of insider views into artists’ workspaces throughout the city and in Maryland and New Mexico. http://www.asllinea.org/?s=the+studio+project
----Videos of painter Knox Martin, and of painters David A. Leffel and Sherrie McGraw discussing their work
----An appreciation of "Piero della Francesca in America" and the current exhibition of his work at the Frick Collection written by Bruce Dorfman
