Taylor Swift’s Signature To Be Featured On New Diet Coke ‘sleek’

While Grace was too injured to make it to Taylor's show in Columbia, Mo., this past August, her AH-MAY-ZING parents snagged tickets to Taylor's show in Nashville on Sept. 21. Naturally, when doll-faced Tay-Tay heard that Grace was in the house, she invited her backstage for some one-on-one hug and hang time. We would've been all "#neverletgo." Word on the street is that Taylor even signed Grace's sleeve (presumably making her insta-popular at school!), but not before Ed Sheeran 's BFF in clownitude asked Grace to "sing extra loud" in the audience because "she had a cold." If we were Grace in this situation, we definitely would've responded with "So, what's your number? Lets' be IRL BFFs, OK? COOL." Then again, #BOUNDARIES.
Source: free

‘insidious: Chapter 2,’ Movie Review

Wan and screenwriter Leigh Whannell build a convoluted mousetrap, and occasionally it works. One big reveal in link the third act is a time-trippy, house-of-mirrors moment that stands as the only real payoff in the film. The rest of the time, Insidious 2 bumps into narrative walls. The introduction of a new villain is a blatant attempt at a Freddy Krueger-style franchise fiend. A pair of goofy ghostbusters (Angus Sampson, Andrew Astor) return from the first film to lighten the mood, but get in the way.
Source:

Ultimately, casting will be down to the movie's director Michael Bay. Previous "Transformers" view movies have featured an 'autobot' called Bumblebee based on the Chevrolet Camaro, prompting the company to bring out a Camaro Transformers Special Edition in 2011, which sold more than 1,500 globally, said Michael Albano, a Chevrolet spokesman in Detroit, adding: "We very much look forward to Camaro reprising its role in the upcoming film." Movie Review: Can Robert DeNiro Save ‘The Family’?

Vanessa Hudgens stars as Cindy Paulson, a stripper who manages to escape Hansen's clutches. Jack is the only one who believes her story, and her testimony becomes the cornerstone of his otherwise flimsy case against the psycho. There's some really nice chemistry between Cage and Hudgens. She looks so naturally sweet and vulnerable that she would elicit protective feelings from pretty much any dude. Cage picks up on this vibe of hers and really milks it. The concern in his eyes is touching. The ruggedly beautiful Alaskan setting is ideal for a crime drama of this sort, lending an air of gloom and menace that you wouldn't get in more hospitable climes. Cusack's portrayal of the murderer is refreshingly uncharismatic.
Source:

Fox in NBC's "The Michael J. Fox Show," Clark Gregg in ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," James Spader in NBC's "The Blacklist." And, of course, James Caan in "Back in the Game," Greg Kinnear in the midseason "Rake" and Queen Latifah on her own talk show. FULL COVERAGE: Fall TV Preview 2013 The shift is fueled in part by simple employment issues. In case you hadn't heard, the film industry is having a tough time producing anything other than franchise fodder and Oscar bait, while high-production scripted television is busting out all over. Actors will tell you they follow the stories, and it's past arguing that some of the best stories are being told on television. But actors and writers and directors, like most of population, also follow the love. And right now, audiences are in love with television. Truly, madly, deeply, and in ways difficult to sustain in film or the theater.
Source:,0,1067273.story

Movie review: The Frozen Ground (NC16)

If you rub Giovanni the wrong way, hell either kill you or break all your bones. Maggie doesnt like the way shes treated while shopping, so she burns the market down. Belle beats a boy with a tennis racquet after he comes on too strong, while Warren extorts, forges and steals in an effort to run his high school. Further complicating matters is that Giovanni is working on a tell-all book, though its really just a bad plot device to feed us his back story. Add to that the fact that a mob boss has put a $20 million bounty on Giovannis head, and our poor FBI agent Jones has his work more than cut out for him. The Familys funniest moments arent derived from the writing but from the performances. This is an extremely weak script that plays on tired mob stereotypes, buttressed by a brutality thats better suited for a mob drama than a dark comedy. The saving grace here is the cast, as De Niro, Pfeiffer and Jones mug their way out of Bessons awkward comedic choices.
Source:

Movie Beat: We’re the ones encouraging sequels

But when added to the success of Fast and Furious 6, another summer movie that saw huge returns, they send a neon-bright message to Hollywood that what we really want is to see characters weve already seen before. Thankfully, there were also a handful of original movies that made it through the summer season with their heads held high. Lee Daniels The Butler topped the box office for three weeks over much splashier movies. The horror movie The Conjuring stormed its way into theaters with a first-place opening weekend finish, and by this point in the season has taken in over $220 million in foreign and domestic ticket sales. The action movie The Heat has made $209.5 million, the heist film Now You See Me has made $293 million, and Brad Pitts zombie extravaganza World War Z has made $526 million. The thing is, only The Conjuring took the top spot its opening weekend.
Source:
